QV-I Building in Perth The ten students are currently combining their new skills to design, construct and market a range of fine furniture and corporate gift products. The culmination of this effort will be an exhibition to showcase the talent and excellence of these new Western Australian Artisans. These pieces represent the highest possible value adding for the timber by using techniques, which heave been learnt throughout the course, to reflect an appreciation and respect for our unique natural timber resources.

The Diploma of Arts - Furniture Design, is a full time two-year course encompassing both design and Fine Furniture construction and is enhanced with business and marketing qualifications.

This year the exhibition will be held in the foyer of the QV1 building, St George's Tce, Perth, and will run for twelve days with the official opening on December 10.
